This site is a legacy site for the work of the PAD-US Partnership, which operated between 2009 and May 2010, to develop a long term vision for U.S. protected areas data.

The two primary partners in this effort, the USGS Gap Analysis Program and the Conservation Biology Institute, have each continued with publication of their respective data sets - learn more about these data sets.
